Choose two characters in Ninth Ward. Brainstorm some
character traits for them. Then choose one trait for each of them
and find a quote as evidence for that trait.

Alphabetizing: Finish all four pages by next Monday.
I cannot give you any more time in class to complete these
handouts.
1-Take the words from the two paragraphs, list them in the
lefthand column. Put them in alphabetical order in the righthand
column.
2-Put the ten sets of five words in alphabetical order on the
lines.
3-Brainstorm ten words about something you like in the lefthand
column and then put them in alphabetical order in the righthand
column.
4-Brainstorm ten words that all begin with the same letter
(food that begins with "c," for example) in the lefthand column
and put them in alphabetical order in the righthand column.
