2) Try to access your Memrise account with the given username and passwords. Start studying our Latin course - "WLPCS 5th Grade Latin"

We will be discussing the following websites in Latin class today and using them in the future. Be sure your child shares the login information with you.

Powerschool - Students will be receiving their usernames today. This is an online grade book so you can track academic progress. Currently, there are not many grades in the grade book, and thus any missing assignments will have a dramatic effect. Keep this in mind when viewing their grades early on in any quarter.
Latin emails - Students will set these up in class on Wednesday with Ms. Minera.
ClassDojo - No need to have a separate account for this. I track details of participation in Latin class using ClassDojo, then translate this into a percentage in PowerSchool. You can keep track of your weekly participation grades in PowerSchool. I will also send home a detailed report each month from ClassDojo which can help you track trends and discuss strategies for improvement. I am sending home the first report today from the first week of school - please ask your child to share it with you and discuss strategies for improvement or to continue the good work.
Memrise - This website is an online vocabulary tool to help students study their vocabulary. Usernames are available in their Latin workbooks - they can start practicing today!
Schoology - Many Latin assignments will soon be available in schoology for students to complete. The username will be the same as Memrise. They will start to explore this tool next week.
